- 1982 MSc Physical Chemistry and MSc Biochemistry University of Amsterdam/Free University Amsterdam
- 1985 MSc Computer Science R.U. Leiden
- 1987 PhD Physical Chemistry R.U. Leiden
- on the dynamic behavior of partially charged polyacrylic acid in a bad solvent
- Presently partner of Teneo BV - security solutions, Lecturer at the Holland Hoge School, and involved in database solutions through DataForce KIC
