- 1982 MSc Physical Chemistry and MSc Biochemistry University of Amsterdam/Free University Amsterdam
- 1985 MSc Computer Science R.U. Leiden
- 1987 PhD Physical Chemistry R.U. Leiden
- Presently partner of Teneo BV - security solutions, Lecturer at the Holland Hoge School, and involved in database solutions through DataForce KIC
Hobbies are: Cooking, Photography, Cosmology, fountainpens, fantasy and science-fiction.
- Fond of nature and the Dutch skies.
