I am Teyfur Erdogdu, an historian working in Turkey. I am a member of the Editorial Council of Citizendium. I am also a member of CRLV (Centre de Recherche sur la Litterature des Voyages). My Background: I grew up in Istanbul, where my love of architecture, history, and photography were developed. Firstly I came to Germany, then UK and France. Now I live in Turkey. My Education: Architecture, University of Mimar Sinan; Public Administration, University of Istanbul (BA); Political Science, University of Istanbul (MA); History, University of Hacettepe (PhD). My Experience: Teaching “Social and Economic Ottoman History”, “Public and Institutional History”, and “Ottoman Turkish” at different Universities in Turkey.
