I am a Chartered Accountant living in England and specialising in the financial services industry. My area of expertise includes International Accounting Standards, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the use of derivative financial instruments and risk management.
My main interest is in politics, having twice stood for Manchester City Council for the Liberal Democrats [1]. I was also a member of the Liberal Democrats working group that drew up the party's International Law policy. [2].
