I am a junior at Harvard University studying chemistry. I am an avid quizbowler; ancillary interests include mathematics, physics, cultivating my growing bias against string theory, gaming, reading philosophy, doing philosophy, reading literature, doing literature, and fretting over the slim chances that anyone will ever give me a job.
I'm currently working in Greg Cuny's lab under Joydev Laha, working on a Mitsunobu-style synthesis of fused ring systems (inspired by some anaesthetics that were pulled from the market once it was realized that they shut one's adrenergic response down for good) and a one-pot total synthesis of an alpha-carboline natural product.
