This template is used on a test list of genes for which article creation can be assisted by a bot. The template is based on {{Rpl}} and expected to undergo several major revisions in its initial phase. Once implemented, it is intended to display
- a pictorial representation of the available bot assistance (e.g. via ),
- the gene's name and
- a brief description of the gene (possibly containing alternative names) .
Upon a mouse click on the appropriate link (perhaps the icon), bot content shall be transfered to the editor window of the newly generated article, and the status of the gene on this list should be changed such that it is visible that the article has been created (e.g. via , as usual in {{Pl}} and {{Rpl}} for external content). Please discuss the operation of this template at CZ:Proposals/Create a page for all notable genes in the human genome#How about a test page?.
