See my remarks in bold behind the pictures. About the last picture; Probably this photo is taken when the DASA company (the the Fokker mother company) pulled the plug and Fokker went bankrupt. My German is bad, but that is basically the story told in the text, so this picture could be taken around march 1996. Although even many years after Fokker went bunkrupt and was split/sold, I encountered the Fokker logo on may (former) buildings, so I am not sure about the date. Split off Anthony Fokker
I chose to start a new article about Anthony Fokker, this to separate the history of the man and the organization.
Overview of Fokker-built aircraft
Once Citizendium grows each aircraft could (theoretically) get it's own page/article in citizendium. Untill then I try to get the overview for Fokker complete, both aircraft as well as projects. This can be a staging area for writing articles on Fokker aircraft.
Which of these Fokker logos are authentic?
- http://www.spaceandtech.com/spacedata/orgs/logos/corporate-logos/fokkerspace_logo.jpg => this seems to me to be the derived logo of the space department of Fokker, although I am unsure.
- http://fokker.avsim.net/images/logo-PFJ.gif => this is containing the original fokker logo, on the left. But I don't know what the Project Fokker Jetline means. It can point to the F28 fellow ship or Fokker 70/100 Jetliners?.
- http://www.aviacol.net/images/stories/fokker.gif Yep!! This is the original one.
- http://www.boeing.com/news/releases/2005/q1/images/stork_n.jpg Also original, but this is not of the Fokker independent organization. This is the new logo used by (some of) the Stork Aviation departments, in which the remnants of the bankrupt Fokker went up.
- http://adesivoslabella.com.br/loja/images/Logo%20Fokker%20Alemao.gif I don't know this logo, I vaguely recall it as German Luftwaffe artwork during WW2, although not sure again.
- http://www.vintageaviation.org/images/fokkerDVII/FokkerDecal.jpg Don't know this one, but this could very well be one of the earlier logo's used by Fokker during ww1.
- http://www.uitdekunst.nl/fokker_logo_kleur.jpg Nope. The Dutch text states "Food for dog and cat", this is a different kind of Fokker (Note that in Dutch "Fokker" also means "breeder" (of animals)).
If all of them are, let me know.
And what is going on in the photo at http://rhein-zeitung.de/on/96/03/16/topnews/fokker.html ?
