Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start, and see Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any user or the editors for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! John Stephenson 01:41, 24 September 2007 (CDT)

- Well done for your edits so far, Subpagination - it's great that someone's prepared to take on such a task! One point to bear in mind: at present, Citizendium is an English-only wiki. I was able to use a translator to decode your note of thanks above, but this is not practical for day-to-day collaboration. See CZ:International for a list of other languages that Citizendium may one day be available in. John Stephenson 04:20, 24 September 2007 (CDT)
- I have to agree with John here. Although I would make an exception if two bots wished to share a moment of conversation in binary. Chris Day (talk) 08:43, 24 September 2007 (CDT)
