I am a senior researcher and subject specialist for astronomy and physics at Copenhagen University Library (the Royal Library, Denmark) and an honorary associate professor in Computational Astrophysics at the Niels Bohr Institute (Copenhagen University).

My research subjects are within astrophysics, magneto-hydrodynamical theory and numerical computer simulations. Over all topics are cosmic magnetic fields and stellar dynamo action.

I received both my Master's in astronomy (1995) and my Ph.D. in physics (1998) from Copenhagen University. Among other things I have e.g. been a fellow at the Solar Physics Institute of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (1999-2001). As a subject specialist my duties include coordinating Open Access activities.

I am a huge fan of Star Trek (and Editor of the Danish Star Trek fanzine Subspace), and have given several talks on the physics of Star Trek.

I've contributed to Danish Wikipedia and I'm an Editor at Scholarpedia's Encyclopedia of Dynamical Systems (Category: Computational Astrophysics)."
