David McNab is a New Zealand-based natural therapist, counsellor, author, seminar presenter and course trainer, as well as an enthusiast of open source software and microcontroller technology, and an occasional political lobbyist.

After working as an embedded software developer for ten years, McNab made a dramatic career shift into natural therapy, mainly a modality of mind-body medicine: a breathwork therapy called 'rebirthing'. According to McNab, this shift was largely inspired by his own personal rebirthing experience - a rapid and dramatic recovery from years of depression and other emotional and health issues, after mainstream therapies and numerous other natural therapies had failed to give him any lasting benefit.

McNab has many varied interests - personal and professional - which are loosely connected by a common denominator of a quest for human liberation, healing and empowerment.

Born and raised in Australia, McNab has been residing in New Zealand with his wife Pauline since 1998.
