Quick summary

British citizen, born 1969. Living in The Netherlands since May 1999.

Main area of expertise is in the area of radar systems and ESM systems for air surveillance. During my career I have been involved in research and development in the areas of HF radar, VHF and UHF radar, bisatic and multistatic radars, radar signal processing, tracking and data fusion, low-frequency stealth and counterstealth. Particular specialism in passive radar systems with several publications in the field, invited Editor of the IEE Special Issue on Passive Radar (June 2005) and invited speaker for IEE Annual Watson-Watt lecture (April 2004). Chairman of NATO SET-071 and SET-108 technical groups on passive radar. More recently also responsible for programmes of work in the areas of tactical data links, data fusion, network enabled capabilities and the common operational picture. Active Project Manager for various technical projects. Current NATO CTS security clearance. Programming skills in Java and Mathematica.

Married to Ioana since 1994. Two children, Magdalena (1998) and Harry (2004).

Hobbies

Limited due to two small children, but these include:
