Twenty20 is a special form of limited overs cricket in which the teams have one innings each and the number of overs per innings is limited to twenty. The format was introduced into English cricket in 2003 and is especially successful in India, where the Indian Premier League has become the world's most lucrative cricket tournament. At international level, a match is called a Twenty20 International (T20I).
