The Banner is the chief newspaper in the fictional town of Llanview, Pennsylvania on the ABC soap opera, One Life to Live.
The newspaper was founded and owned by Victor Lord, (originally portrayed by Ernest Graves), then passed on to Joe Riley (Lee Patterson). Subsequently, it was passed on to Clint Buchanan (Clint Ritchie), who owned and editorialized the newspaper. Afterwards, Victoria 'Viki' Lord Davidson (Erika Slezak), Victor's daughter, inherited the paper. Todd Manning (Trevor St. John) was previously editor-in-chief until Kevin Riley Buchanan (Dan Gauthier) had him removed from the position, and afterward the paper reverted to Victoria.
