Duuhhhhhh. I'm a moron. This info is already in the metadata. It's probably pretty straightforward to suck it up and emit the right text here, based on the article status, which is ''also'' in the meta-data. Neato-keeno. [[User:J. Noel Chiappa|J. Hi, I take it this is optional with regards to being put in articles? [[User:Denis Cavanagh|Denis Cavanagh]] 08:48, 29 March 2008 (CDT) | |||
: I would assume so, but I think it depends on the outcome of the Editorial Council decision. I would certainly favour its being optional, depending on the wishes of the author(s) of the article. [[User:J. Noel Chiappa|J. Noel Chiappa]] 11:43, 29 March 2008 (CDT) |

Adding editors
This is easy enough to do, with named arguments of the form "Editor1=Foo|Editor2=Bar", etc, up to any number of editors you want to support. I'll hold off on writing the code in the template until the proposal gets voted on yea or nay, though (don't want to take the time unless it's needed). J. Noel Chiappa 21:15, 27 March 2008 (CDT)

Optional?
