;Purpose
To enable editing only the intro section of an article, which is useful to people who have slower internet connections, and may help prod such editing.  See [http://forum.citizendium.org/index.php/topic,1432.0.html this forums post for more.]

;Usage
#Place <code><nowiki>{{editintro}}</nowiki></code> atop any page '''but below''' the <code><nowiki>{{subpages}}</nowiki></code> template.
#Place <code><nowiki>{{subst:editintro-talknote}}</nowiki></code> atop '''but below''' the <code><nowiki>{{subpages}}</nowiki></code> template and <code><nowiki>{{WPimport}}</nowiki></code> template (if it exists) on the article's talk page.

;Usage notes
I'm sure this can be worked into the subpages template with ifexist perimeters.  That way, it shows up by default and simply disappears when an article becomes approved.  But for now, this template must be manually added, and then removed just prior article approval, since <code><nowiki>__NOEDITSECTION__</nowiki></code> included in the approval fails to kill this template.</noinclude>

[edit intro]

Enables editing only the intro section of an article, which is useful to people who have slower internet connections, and may help prod such editing. See this forums post for more.

Usage

Place {{editintro}} at the top of any page which does not use the {{subpages}} template.
(The subpages template contains an edit intro link itself, so both are not needed.)

Example

See the top of this page for an example of the result of the code {{editintro}}.
