It seems to be the consensus that Citizendium is undergoing a crisis on multiple fronts. Of these I only recognize as legitimate concerns our financial difficulties and unspectacular growth (or decline). I don't understand why so much time and energy was spent in the forums and e-mails when we should all be busy producing quality articles. It's the same reason why I am not particularly interested in running for this position. Issues such as one's professionalism and credentials are important but definitely not something to fight over. We need to become a community that is cooperative and encouraging to one another.
