== Censorship? ==
Now, first, you are free to delete this comment, it being on your user page.
As you know, CZ is non-anonymous. The wiki proper automatically links to your profile. The Forum software does not, so, to be consistent, we ask that a profile URL be set up.
Your profile could simply have your name and "CZ author". I wouldn't recommend that, but it's certainly your choice. As far as CZ being a joke, some comedians do very good social criticism. Might I suggest, however, that it might go farther to try to make it a better place?
Apropos of our customs, it's usual to discuss a large deletion — more than a paragraph or so &mdash before making it, unless it's something obvious such as duplicate text. [[User:Howard C. Berkowitz|Howard C. Berkowitz]] 01:17, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
== Catering to the fringe? Citizendium bcoming a joke? ==
Hi, Adam:
Would you please be so kind as to explain why you joined Citizendium if you think it is catering to the fringe and is becoming a joke? I fail to understand your motivation.
As for being told that you would be censored if you didn't create a profile ... what I saw on the forums was that you were politely asked to provide a profile as we all have. I did not see any statement saying that you would otherwise be "censored". [[User:Milton Beychok|Milton Beychok]] 06:06, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at CZ:Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via the Citizendium-L (broadcast) mailing list (do join!) and the blog. Please also join the workgroup mailing list(s) that concern your particular interests. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forums is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any constable for help, too. Me, for instance! Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! Hayford Peirce 15:55, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Censorship?

Howard C. Berkowitz 01:17, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Catering to the fringe? Citizendium bcoming a joke?

Milton Beychok 06:06, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
