I was born in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1939. My family immigrated to Israel in 1949. I moved to the USA in 1967. I earned an associate degree in chemistry in Israel and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Portland State University in 1973. For 20 years I was employed by the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry where I was in charge of design and production of science exhibits. From 1987 until my retirement in 2002, I owned my own company, specializing in design and production of exhibits for science museums with clients all over the world. While I am interested in many things, my “first love” has been kinetic sculpture and my current interest is stereoscopic photography. I teach stereoscopic photography at the 3D Center of Art and Photography, the first and only public gallery/museum in the USA dedicated solely to 3D imagery located in Portland, Oregon.

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via Twitter. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any administrator for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! Peter Ingerman 15:48, 23 May 2007 (CDT)
