Patricia Kelly Spurles is an Associate professor of anthropology, Mount Allison University, Canada. She received the PhD in anthropology from Universite de Montreal in 2004, and has research interests in women's experience of breastfeeding, cultural mediation of the life cycle, and anthropological theory. She is co-director of Mothers and Babies Research Group at Mount Allison University.
