Undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, University of New Orleans, 1986, concentrating on the English Romantic Poets: Wordsworth, Coleridge, and Blake. Worked several positions including oil & gas marketing (Seismic Exchange, Inc., New Orleans, LA & Houston, TX, 6 years), pharmacy tech & manager (Walgreen's, N.O., 4 years), permit analyst (City of New Orleans, Dept. of Safety & Permits, 6 mos.), Library Technician II, Milton H. Latter Memorial Library, branch of the New Orleans Public Library, 4 years).
Now enrolled in the Master's degree program (MLIS) at the School of Library & Information Science, Louisiana State University, concentrating on medical libraries. Worked as Editorial Asst. to Dr. Donald Kraft, LSU Computer Science Dept., managing web-based author portal for submission of original academic research manuscripts for peer review as candidates for publication in JASIST: Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology, Spring 2006 (6 mos.).
