I am Daniel Lawson a bioinformatician working on predicting gene structures for arthropod vectors of human pathogens VectorBase. I currently work at the European Bioinformatics Institute in Hinxton, UK. Recently I have been working on the Aedes aegypti mosquito. In the past I have worked on Caenorhabditis elegans, Plasmodium falciparum, Leishmania major and Theileria annulata.
