Science and the understanding of human development and evolution have interested me for the greater portion of my life. The love of the subject hit home when I took an Advanced Placement biology course at my high school when I was a junior. At the time, I had wanted to be a journalism major and go into the field of professional photography, but as soon as my teacher introduced the topics of human evolution and how they relate to current situations in human interactions, I was hooked.
I am currently an undergraduate student in the Anthropology program at the University of Colorado at Boulder. My focus is primarily founded in biological anthropology, but I am a believer that the full breadth and depth of the field including archaeology, cultural ethnography and study, and medical anthropology is needed to make any kind of theory on human evolution or interaction.
In the future, I hope to pursue an advanced degree in a field relating to biological anthropology.
