Urinary tract [r]: Also known as the renal system, it is in the lower half of the body and includes the kidneys, two ureters, the bladder and the uretha. Its main purpose is to provide the means by which urine is drained from the body. It is also significant in the regulation of blood pressure and in the control of electrolytes. [e]
