The Comité International des Poids et Mesures (in American English: General Conference on Weights and Measures), abbreviated CGPM, is an international standards organization that through various resolutions from time to time sets measurement standards for various fundamental quantities such as the SI units. The various resolutions are available on web sites maintained by the BIPM[1] and by NIST[2]. Its member states can be found on the BIPM website.[3]
