I'm sure there's a better way to redirect, but after searching for just "diode" and at first thinking no page existed, I thought it would be helpful to have something here. I almost created a diode page from scratch! Or was it intentionally nonexistent? | I'm sure there's a better way to redirect, but after searching for just "diode" and at first thinking no page existed, I thought it would be helpful to have something here. Would it be better to have the page named Diode, or is there a non-semiconductor type of diode that warrants its own general page? | Would it be better to have the page named Diode, or is there a non-semiconductor type of diode that warrants its own general page?
Personally I think the cleanest would be to have a main Diode page which was the starting place for all diodes - including vacuum tube diodes since they work functionally just the same as any other rectifier diode. | Personally I think the cleanest would be to have a main Diode page which was the starting place for all diodes - including vacuum tube diodes since they work functionally just the same as any other rectifier diode.

I'm sure there's a better way to redirect, but after searching for just "diode" and at first thinking no page existed, I thought it would be helpful to have something here. I almost created a diode page from scratch! Or was it intentionally nonexistent? Would it be better to have the page named Diode, or is there a non-semiconductor type of diode that warrants its own general page?
Personally I think the cleanest would be to have a main Diode page which was the starting place for all diodes - including vacuum tube diodes since they work functionally just the same as any other rectifier diode. Jesse Gordon 07:02, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
