Bradford is a city and metropolitan borough in West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. Its residential population is 506,800.
As a metropolitan borough
It is named after its largest settlement, but includes the towns of Keighley, Shipley, Bingley, Ilkley, Haworth, Silsden and Denholme.
Local attractions
The National Media Museum and Alhambra theatre are located within the city.
Transport
It has two railway stations; Bradford Interchange and Bradford Forster Square. The former has services to Leeds, Huddersfield, Manchester, and Blackpool, and the latter to Ilkley, Leeds, Skipton, Carlisle, and Morecambe, and both have services to Scotland and the Lake District. It is also well connected with bus services.
