Ernst Wilhelm Bohle (1903-1960) was the official responsible for the Auslands-Organisation der NSDAP, which represented German Nazis living outside Germany. His positions included Gauleiter of the Foreign Organization of the Nazi Party (1933 - 1945); State Secretary for the Foreign Organization in the Reich Foreign Office (1937-1941). He held the rank of SS- Obergruppenfuehrer, and, within the Party, was Gauleiter of the Auslands-Organisation der NSDAP.
Bohle was a witness in the Trial of the Major War Criminals and a defendant in the Ministries Case (NMT), which sentenced him to five years.
