::Both. As I remember, Heinlein alludes to it in ''Grumbles from the Grave'', which I don't have at hand -- I recall Smith told him that he could not possibly submit it to a publisher of the time. "...he may have had an unpublishable sequel to Children of the Lens in mind, for which sibling mating would be logical."

unpublishable or unpublished? It could be both. -Derek Hodges 01:34, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
Both. As I remember, Heinlein alludes to it in Grumbles from the Grave, which I don't have at hand -- I recall Smith told him that he could not possibly submit it to a publisher of the time. Heinlein himself had a great deal of problem with his early, exceptionally child-oriented editors; I hope Hayford might elaborate since he may have some direct knowledge. Howard C.
