"National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) was founded in 1909 to end racism and discrimination. It is the oldest and largest civil rights organization. The NAACP operates as a non for profit and intends to insure the equality of minority groups in the areas of politics, education and socio enconomics. "
