A major United States Air Force base in Omaha, Nebraska. It was the home of the Strategic Air Command, and its successor, the United States Strategic Command.
Besides the USSTRATCOM headquaters, the major base unit is the 55th Wing, which operates 13 models of seven different types of C3I-ISR aircraft. It is the largest wing in Air Combat Command and the second largest wing in the Air Force.
