From the citizendium-l mailing list:

A new FAQ for Citizendium!

We really need one that answers questions that really are the most frequently asked.

But what are they?

Please go to http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ_Talk:FAQ and state what you think a new FAQ should cover, or better yet, go to http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ:FAQ/Draft and just dive in.

Those who have been less active on Citizendium because it seems a bit forbidding to use, your input is especially valuable.

  • What is the point of all of these subpages? How might I add a new subpage to an already existing page?
  • How does the Citizendium's policy on original research differ from Wikipedia's?
  • Why are all of these Tables of Contents on the right?
  • And what the heck does 'Be Bold' mean, anyway?
  • What does it mean that an article has been approved?
  • What is the process for getting an article I've worked on approved?
  • Boy, these constables seem to have some serious disciplinary powers. Should I be concerned? How can I stay on the right side of the law, so to speak?

I can see from the above and CZ_Talk:FAQ#Expert-led.3F we need one FAQ for people who've never really heard of CZ, and one for contributors.
