São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro is the second major city in Brazil, behind São Paulo and also the former capital on Brazil until 1960's (replaced by the planned city Brasilia).
The city is famous to be one of the major target of tourism in the world, notably by its famous beaches (like Copacabana and Ipanema, its carnival celebrations, Christ the Redeemer statue atop on Corcovado Mountain and by Sugar Loaf (Pão de Açucar).
