I wonder if I might persuade you to release a high resolution version of 
http://www.geometer.org/TT2004/TT/pages/ScarletIbis.html under a Creative 
Commons license for use in http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/Scarlet_Ibis

Also, if the license would allow derivatives it would allow me to crop the 
photo a bit.

Hi Stephen,

Sure.  Feel free to use my image under those conditions.  Just indicate that 
it is copyright Tom Davis where you use it.

I'll append two versions of the photo: one is in Nikon RAW format, which was 
is the original photo; the other is a jpeg file made directly from the RAW 
format version.  Crop away!
