I am a retired teacher of pediatrics. I was a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Canada with a Bachelor of Science degree. I then got my M.D. Degree from the University of Geneva, Switzerland; after this I had internship and general practice residency at Mercy hospital in Toledo, Ohio. I then went to Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago for residency in pediatrics, after which I had postgraduate training in allergy and immunology. I practice and taught until 1994 when I retired and returned to Canada in Victoria. At present and for the past few years I am a student at University of Victoria, taking courses in Italian, History of Art, had music theory while playing classical guitar. I am now 79 yr. Old and a docent at the British Columbia museum, teaching on aspects of the Titanic exhibit.

I have been active in Rotary International and was governor of Chicago in 1990-91. I have run clinics in Ecuador, Colombia, Kenya, Uganda, Reunion and Mauritius under Rotary service.
