My name is Wesley Bruning and I'm delighted to be able to participate in the Citizendium project. I'm currently a Junior attending The Pennsylvania State University in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Computer programming, among other computer-related fields, is my forte. However, I enjoy doing many, many other things. Just to name a few, I love writing stories, reading, drawing, traveling, playing soccer and basketball, and making music. I would have to say that making music is probably my favorite out of that list. I've played the guitar, bass, and drums for several years now, and I also spend a lot of my time composing and producing songs. But as much as I enjoy doing all of those things and hundreds more, my greatest passion is for knowledge. I try to learn at least a dozen new things every day, and I always succeed. That's what attracts me to the idea of this user-submitted and edited encyclopedia; the concept of being able to help shape perhaps the largest database of valid information is alluring.
