I have a Bachelors of Arts in History and Geography from Indiana University Southeast (adviser Dr. Rick Kennedy), a Masters in Liberal Studies from Indiana University Southeast (adviser Dr. Peter Galvin), and completed most of the requirements for a PhD in Economic Geography, specializing in Historical Geography, at Indiana State University (Dr. Jay Gatrell). I have traveled to 42 states, 2 foreign cities, and have visited every Civil War battlefield under NPS jurisdiction east of the Mississippi.
