Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via Twitter. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any administrator for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! Thanks for your input to the prime number article.

Thanks for your input on the prime number article. Many of the math articles need to be explained more clearly to be accessible to a broader audience. It helps to get input about the readability of the articles from people who are not math experts.

I moved some things around in the article just now to put some stuff that's easier to understand earlier in the article. The first part of the article (the introduction, before the first heading) contains a definition in words of prime numbers. Is that part of the article relatively easy to follow? I hope that a lot of people can follow the proof that there are infinitely many prime numbers. Are there symbols in that part that you have trouble understanding? Note that for some of the symbols, the meaning of the symbol is given in words the first time the symbol is used. (I added some of those words just now.) It would be useful to know how far you're able to read in the article before you come to a symbol you can't understand even with the words (if any) provided to explain it.

I also put some comments at Talk:prime number. --Catherine Woodgold 09:43, 29 April 2007 (CDT

Thanks for your message and your input. I got a laugh out of your image of people butting heads in the gymnasium. --Catherine Woodgold 10:48, 29 April 2007 (CDT)

the scientology article

Thanks for your acknowledgement. Remember that most of us are clueless about scientology, so it despite whatever complexity it may have as a philosophy or religion, it has to make sense to an outsider. Peter A. Lipson 20:20, 1 May 2007 (CDT)

I'm done.

I'm done. Mr. Larry Sanger has a specific agenda with regard to an area I have some knowledge about. He continues to use his veto power to prevent Scientology from reaching the printeable page. That's fine with me, it is, after all, his personal project and he is welcome to know anything he chooses to, and refuse to allow knowledge he disagrees with from reaching other people. That is purely up to Mr. Larry Sanger. I'll not fight and wonder what is going on as I did with he and those he worked with at Wikipedia. Good bye. Terry E. Olsen 14:22, 2 May 2007 (CDT)
