Danke fürs korrigieren von Galileo! Stefan Sels 06:45, 9 November 2006 (CST)

Engineering

Hii Jochen, I noticed a ToApprove template that you placed on the Engineering article dated for 10/10/2007. Did you mean 7/10/2007? Or was ther e areason you were waiting till October? --Matt Innis (Talk) 01:24, 9 September 2007 (CDT)

Delaying approval for Engineering article

Hi Jochen, I noticed that a fellow Citizen recently suggested that the Engineering article in its present form is not ready for approval (see Talk:Engineering#This article is not ready for approval). Therefore, I think it may be a good idea to delay approval of this article until the issues raised have been looked at carefully and resolved. Please let me know your thoughts on this, thanks. Hendra I. Nurdin 20:21, 4 October 2007 (CDT)

The article was de-approved and should still be worked on. I hoped that putting it into a pre-approval state would speed up the finishing of the page. Sorry for that. Jochen Wendebaum 09:43, 5 October 2007 (CDT)

Advent party! you're invited!

Sure I could have mentioned the candles--but would you have added it in then? I don't see your name at the December write-a-thon! Please drop by and add yourself to the list of partiers. You can leave a comment, question or excuse there, too--or talk to me Aleta Curry 14:53, 5 December 2007 (CST)

CZ international

Hi! I’m just letting people who have expressed an interest in CZ International know that there is now a proposal on the table.

Please discuss its feasibility at: CZ:Proposals/Internationalisation sandbox in the Discussion area.

Feel free to help develop the proposal, as well.

We'll also need "drivers".

If you've got no idea what I'm talking about, please refer to: CZ:Proposals/New and CZ:Proposals

Ready for approval

Jochen:

Please take a look at CZ:Ready for approval#Engineering. If you are willing, please nominate one or two for approval. Since you did not contribute to any of the listed articles, Approval would only require your nomination alone.

The one that you may be interested in is Large-scale trickle filters. If you think it needs any changes or additions, please discuss them on the Talk pages and I will try to implement them for you ... because if you actually contribute any revisions yourself, then you can no longer nominate the articles for approval.

If you need help in learning how to nominate an article for approval, please let me know. Thanks in advance, - Milton Beychok 13:10, 26 April 2008 (CDT)

Returning to Citizendium: an update on the project and how to get involved

Hello - some time ago you became part of the Citizendium project, but we haven't seen you around for a while. Perhaps you'd like to update your public biography or check on the progress of any pages you've edited so far.

Citizendium now has 17,903 articles, with 0 approved by specialist Editors such as yourself, but our contributor numbers require a boost. We have an initiative called 'Eduzendium' that brings in students enrolled on university courses to write articles for credit, but we still need more Editors across the community to write, discuss and approve material. There are some developed Engineering articles that could be improved and approved, and some high-priority Applied Sciences articles that we don't have yet. You can also create new articles via this guide, and contribute to some Engineering pages that have been recently edited - or to any others on Citizendium, since you're a general Author as well as a specialist Editor. You may like to contribute to discussions in the forums, and might consider running for an elected position on the Management and Editorial Councils that oversee the project.

If you have any questions, let me know via my Talk page or by leaving a message below this one. Thank you for signing up and reading this update; I hope that you will look in on our community soon. John Stephenson 15:24, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
