Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via Twitter. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any administrator for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun!
Hi Ian. Is there a reason you started the page User:Ian Ramjohn/Ecology in your user space rather than just starting Ecology? I noticed there isn't an article yet for Ecology. Anthony 20:24, 22 January 2007 (CST)
- Hi Anthony. What more can I say? If it was in the article space I wouldn't save until I was happy leaving something others could see. If I'm in user space I feel more comfortable making a mess. I suppose I should adapt to a different culture. Ian Ramjohn 20:38, 22 January 2007 (CST)
- We're making up the culture now, I think. If it's more comfortable for you, I'm fine with leaving the page where it is for a short while.
