I am currently undertaking my honours year in Biomedical Sciences, studying Medical Biology honours. After studying obesity, related to Metabolic Syndrome, in my 3rd year Clinical Biochemistry and Endocrinology class and finding it very interesting, I chose to study Appetite and Obesity as one of my electives for honours. I also found learning about the actions of leptin and ghrelin very interesting when studying physiology previously in the course.
