I am an undergraduate Microbiology 201 student at Queens Cuny College. I am doing a Microbiology Lab project on a certain microbe and will discuss various aspects in regards to it, including classification, phylogeny, description, significance as to why it is important, genome structure details , interesting features, what types of plasmids or RNA/DNA type, cell structure, what kind of organism it is, ecology such as where it is from and interactions with other organisms. Also I will discuss the applications to biotechnology and current research being done from 3 primary source literature journal reports within the past 5 years.
