Susan M. Reverby is the Marion Butler McLean Professor in the History of Ideas and Professor of Women's Studies at Wellesley College. Most recently, she is the author of Examining Tuskegee: The Infamous Syphilis Study and its Legacy (Chapel Hill: University of North Carolina Press, in press, publication fall 2009) and editor of Tuskegee's Truths: Rethinking the Tuskegee Syphilis Study (Chapel Hill: University of North Carolina Press, 2000).
