I have an M.A. in History from the University of Pittsburgh, and am presently a Ph.D. Candidate in History at the University of Chicago, with a research focus on twentieth-century Mexican painting. My teaching interests include the history of Mexican art, indigenous societies in Latin America, and the globalization of culture in the Americas, among others.
