Rory Bowman is a native of Vancouver, Washington, United States and graduated Reed College in 1990. A charter member of the Teach for America national teacher corps, he was a public schoolteacher in grades 4-6 before founding his own business as a technical writer and Macintosh computer consultant in 1998. His general areas of interest for this project are classics, religion, history and martial arts.
