I am a South African, practising attorney; born in 1955; married with two adult children; living in Johannesburg. My interests include natural history, science, biographies, history and cultural subjects such as art and music. I collect books (over four thousand) and am an omnivorous reader. I am physically active; hike and climb. I like travelling; have visited Europe often, the UK regularly, the USA, Canada and South America, as well as many parts of Africa.
