Pete Chen has worked and supported use of technology in higher education since 1996 where he began work at Stanford University as an Academic Technology Specialist for Biological Sciences and later began managing the program in 2000. During his Stanford career he has helped to develop and implement Learning Management Systems (LMS) and introduce innovative technologies into the classroom such as molecular modeling and GPS for biosciences, and interactive on-line voice recording to support instruction in foreign languages.
