I received an A.B. in Astrophysical Sciences from Princeton and a Ph.D. in Astronomy from U.C. Berkeley. I am currently an Associate Professor of Physics at Rochester Institute of Technology. My research involves supernovae, cosmology, and astronomical software. I also have interests in Japanese, Greek and Roman history and literature, baseball, and numerical analysis.
