Born in Kerala, India in 1963. Education: BSc (Mathematics, Kerala Univ.), MSc (Meteorology, CUSAT India), MS (Hydrological Engineering, UNESCO-IHE, Netherlands), PhD (Earth Science, IIT-R, India). Presently, scientist in the National Institute of Hydrology (under the Ministry of Water Resources, Govt. of India), and living with family in Belgaum, South India. Area of interest includes various facets of earth science including meteorology and hydrology.
