I am a student at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. As a major in Religion and Political Science, I have diverse interests in these fields. More narrowly, my academic interests and area of study are in church history, religion's affect on voting patterns, and the effects of abstract religious worldview construction on concrete behavior. Outside of academic study, I am a part-time student and aspiring scholar of J.R.R. Tolkien's corpus, and have been studying and examining his work as a layperson since I was six years old.
