Kohinoor Kar, Ph.D., P.E., PTOE, is a professional engineer in the State of Arizona and a Faculty Associate at Arizona State University. He serves on several transportation research advisory committees and panels at the national level, a professional certification board, and the editorial boards of two prestigious international journals. He is enthusiastic about still photography – nature, landscape and macro being his focus. Dr. Kar is fond of Indian music with some training in playing violin. Apart from technical articles, he often writes poems, short stories and reports on Indian cultural affairs.
